Boys and Girls Club of Durham is proud to offer high-quality summer camps for 8 weeks every summer.
Campers are required to bring litterless lunch and snacks unless otherwise indicated. Please keep in mind we do not provide refrigeration or microwaves for children to use.
Great Camp Ratios
Average Camp ratio is 1 staff to 12 campers
Rookie Camp (ages 4-5) ratio is 1 staff to 8 campers
Boys and Girls Club of Durham Staff
We are proud of our exceptional staff, chosen for their genuine interest in children and youth. We employ caring and creative individuals who possess exceptional leadership qualities. All staff are required to participate in 35 hours of pre-camp training. All staff members have First Aid, CPR, and High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development certifications. All aquatic staff members are required to have Red Cross and Life Saving Society qualifications.
Camp Deposit & Refund Policy
There is a non-refundable deposit of $30.00 per week, per child. A $10.00 charge will apply per child per session for any registration changes, cancellations, transfer or request for copy of registration for income tax purposes. All registration changes must be made in person. Refunds will not be issued with less than 14 days notice.
