The After-School Program Volunteer will assist with set up, preparing healthy snacks, playing games, helping children with homework, playing sports, and clean up. The After-School Program runs Monday through Friday for 3 hours a day beginning at last bell (varies by location) and supports children 4-13 years of age. Boys and Girls Club of Durham operates at 21 locations in Durham Region.
Volunteers must be at least 14 years old, provide 2 references (not family), be able to commit to a set schedule, and volunteer at least one day a week.

The Resource Development Committee’s responsibility is to enhance the capacity of the Boys and Girls Club of Durham to achieve its mandate, by creating new and innovative ways for the community to become sustainable donors.

Swim with a Buddy Volunteers will swim with children in the shallow end during fun swim. The program runs Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4pm-5pm and supports children 6-13 years of age at our Eastview location - 433 Eulalie Ave, Oshawa
Volunteers must be at least 13 years old, provide 2 references (not family), be able to swim, be able to commit to a set schedule, and volunteer at least one day a week.
Swimming Lesson Volunteers will assist the Swimming Instructor during lessons. The program runs Monday to Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings at our Eastview location - 433 Eulalie Ave, Oshawa, and supports children 6-13 years of age.
Volunteers must be at least 13 years old, have their Bronze Cross or Medallion, intend to become an Instructor or Lifeguard, provide 2 references (not family), be able to commit to a set schedule, and volunteer at least one day a week.
