The Executive Director is responsible for the delivery of the strategic plan in accordance with the Vision and Mission
of BGC Durham. Working with a diverse group of staff and volunteers, manages all operations including financial and
risk management, fund development, human resources, community relations, and program development.
Facility Custodian
Status: Part-time Hourly
Starting Wage: $18.04

As a valued member of our team, the Facility Custodian plays an important role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming space for everyone who walks through our doors. This role supports the day-to-day care of our building and helps ensure children, youth, families, and staff feel a sense of belonging. Guided by BGC values, the custodian works with others to maintain respectful, inclusive spaces where everyone is encouraged and supported.
After-School Program Activity Leader
Status: Part-Time
Starting Wage: $16.55 – $17.50/hour

BGC Durham is looking for Program Activity Leaders to join our team! Program Activity Leaders (or PALs) provide leadership and supervision to children in the After-School Program. If you enjoy working with young people, planning and implementing programs, being a caring leader and ensuring our members have a safe and memorable experience, look no further.
Designated Support Staff – Afterschool Program
Status: Part-Time – 20 hours/week
Starting Wage: $17-19
Application Deadline: Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis until positions are filled-10 positions available
As a Dedicated Support Staff, you are here to have a positive impact on the lives of children and youth (ages 4-13) who require additional support. You create a nurturing and engaging environment by involving/integrating participants in a variety of interactive recreational and educational activities, all while ensuring their safety and well-being.
