Eastview Unit Summer Day Camps - Ages 4 to 12

Camp Hours
Monday to Friday
8:30am to 4:00pm

Members: $125/per week 
Non Member: $145/per week 
Campers will receive a camp t-shirt during their first week of camp.

Camp Deposit & Refund Policy
There is a non-refundable deposit of $30.00 per week, per child. A $10.00 charge will apply per child per session for any registration changes, cancellations, transfer or request for copy of registration for income tax purposes. All registration changes must be made in person. Refunds will not be issued with less than 14 days notice.

Rookie Camp
Ages 4-5

Each week is designed for our younger campers to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday and we are looking to use their imagination and build friendships. We will be incorporating weekly themes form famous Canadian Children Authors bringing story  books to life through crafts, games, water play, explorations, songs and lots of fun! This is a great transition for younger campers before they hit the "big time" at Fun Seeker Camp!

Funseeker Camp
Ages 6-12

Boys and Girls Club of Durham Eastview Fun Seeker Campers will continue to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday all summer long, with lots of unique Canadian summer camp themes. Campers will be divided into age appropriate groups. Fun Seeker is a great weekly themed camp for campers who want to have a ton of fun! Campers will attend daily swimming lessons and participate in a wide variety of fun activities each day with many special events, creative crafts, tech center and enjoy fun swims. So you ready for fun, eh?

July 10th to 14th - Nickels and Dimes
July 17th to 21st - Toronto Blue Jays Fever
July 24th to 28th - Canada's Favourite Tim Horton's

August 8th to 11th - Oshawa Own R.S. McLaughlin

Specialty Camps
Ages 7-12

The Eastview Unit offers a wide variety of Specialty Themed Camps throughout the summer. Camps this year include, Drama-o-rama, Hooked, Tech Camp, Paint and Play, Sports Galore, Brain Busters, Junior Lifequard and much much more! Please download our Eastview Unit Summer Camp Brochure to learn about specialty camps being offered in 2017. Space is very limited to be sure to register early and don't forget your swimsuit and towel for daily fun swims!

Early Care & After Care

The Eastview Unit offers extended supervision from 7:00am to 8:30am for Early Care for $5 a day per child and After Care from 4:00pm to 6:00pm for $5 a day per child. Breakfast will be served at 7:30am to 8:00am.

Early care and after care is a pre-registered program and payment is required at the start of the week.

Please note that we will be having a BBQ on Wednesday's if your camper would like to purchase a BBQ hotdog and a drink box for the cost of $2. Additional hotdogs and drinks can be purchased for $1 each. 

Students who have completed grade eight and are preparing for high school can sign up for a week of volunteering to assist summer campers two hours a day in the afternoon for funswim. A letter will be handed out at the end of the week which can be used for High School Community service hours.
